During our project Political literacy 101 which took place in Fužine, Croatia from 17th to 25th May 2026, participants created a short and engaging video explaining political ideologies and their role in society and democracy. They presented the basic ideas of liberalism, conservatism, socialism, nationalism, and green politics, showing how different views can shape laws, political decisions, and opinions on important social issues.![]()

During our YE: Political literacy 101 which took place in Fužine, Croatia from 17th to 25th May 2026, participants created a short video about freedom of speech and its importance in Europe. In the video, they explained that freedom of speech means the right to express opinions, share ideas, ask questions, criticise those in power, and take part in public discussions without fear.![]()

The video presented freedom of speech as a core European value because it supports democracy, protects human rights, and helps create more equal societies. Participants showed that free speech allows people to participate in democratic life through journalism, peaceful protests, art, social media, education, and everyday conversations.![]()

Today marks the final day of our Erasmus+ youth exchange “Political Literacy 101”, which took place in Fužine, Croatia, from 17–25 May 2026.![]()

Over the past days, young people from Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, and Bulgaria came together to learn, discuss, share ideas, and strengthen their understanding of political literacy and active citizenship.![]()
![]()
During the exchange, we explored many important topics, including democracy, foundations and deviations from democracy, free speech, consensus building, political ideologies, migration and its impact on democracies, populism, European institutions, electoral processes, youth participation, and the role of young people in society.![]()
![]()
Participants also took part in group-building activities, intercultural learning, creative campaigning, preparation of final outputs, Youthpass reflection, final evaluation, and the closing ceremony. Through non-formal education, teamwork, discussions, and creative activities, they had the chance to connect political concepts with everyday life and reflect on how young people can become more active, informed, and engaged citizens.![]()

Each national team had the opportunity to present its culture, traditions, music, customs, and traditional food, creating a space for sharing, learning, and celebrating diversity. The evening helped participants get to know each other better, discover similarities and differences between our countries, and strengthen the intercultural spirit of the project.![]()

Youth exchange Political Literacy 101 has officially started!![]()

Yesterday we began the first day of our Erasmus+ youth exchange “Political Literacy 101” in Fužine, Croatia, bringing together 33 young people from Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, and Bulgaria. Youth exchange is taking place from 17th to 25th May 2026.![]()

Our first day was dedicated to getting to know each other through group and team-building activities, creating a safe and supportive space, and building trust within our international team.![]()
![]()
In the upcoming days, we will continue with sessions connected to political literacy, including democracy, political ideologies, free speech, migration, populism, European institutions, electoral processes, youth participation, and the role of young people in democratic societies.![]()

The main objective of the project is to empower young people to become active, informed, and critically engaged citizens. Through non-formal learning, discussions, simulations, and creative work, participants will explore how political concepts connect to everyday life and how young people can influence positive change in their communities.![]()

Što je "Paleta svjetonazora"?![]()

Živimo u vremenu "echo chambera" i sve veće polarizacije. Svijet se često pokušava svesti na crno-bijele kategorije, ali mi vjerujemo da su naši svjetonazori puno bogatiji i kompleksniji. Projekt istražuje gdje prestaje sloboda govora, a počinju ljudska prava, te kako razvijati kritičko razmišljanje u moru informacija.![]()

Uspješno smo odradili prvu fazu projekta! Kroz suradnju s ekspertima i posjete različitim organizacijama i udrugama, pripremili smo materijale koji će mladima pomoći da razumiju društvenu kompleksnost.![]()

Sada prelazimo na najuzbudljiviji dio – fazu provedbe! Očekuje nas 10 radionica u kojima će sudjelovati oko 200 mladih iz zagrebačkih škola i domova. Program je podijeljen u tri ključne serije:![]()

1. Identifikacija svjetonazora – Uz pomoć "političkog kompasa" istražujemo vlastita uvjerenja i stavove.![]()

2. Moralni temelji – Duboko promišljamo o vrijednostima poput brižnosti, poštenja i lojalnosti kroz simulacije i debatu.![]()

3. Konstruktivan dijalog – Učimo kako civilizirano razgovarati s onima s kojima se ne slažemo i kako graditi toleranciju.![]()

From 2–8 January 2026, we had the opportunity to take part in the Collaboratory Erasmus+ Partnership Building Activity in Tallinn, Estonia which was implemented by IZUM Youth Club.![]()

During this inspiring week, we met and exchanged ideas with project managers and representatives from 19 different countries across Europe. Through non-formal activities, discussions, and collaborative workshops, we shared good practices, explored common challenges in youth work, and co-created ideas for future Erasmus+ projects.![]()

The meeting strengthened international cooperation, built meaningful partnerships, and laid the groundwork for future Youth Exchanges, Training Courses, and long-term collaborations. ✨![]()

“SIDE of Intelligence – Awareness, Ethics, and the Human Factor in AI”, held in Side, Türkiye 🇹🇷 and implemented by Euroactive Romania.![]()

The program brought together partners from Sweden, Portugal, Serbia, Denmark, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Croatia, creating a truly international learning and exchange environment.![]()

This training marked the beginning of a two-year strategic framework (2025–2027) called SIDE by SIDE – The Human Factor in the Age of AI, connecting youth workers and organizations across Europe to explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming youth work and non-formal education.![]()

The training focused on building a human-centered, ethical, and responsible approach to AI. Instead of seeing AI as a replacement for human work, the project explored how technology can support inclusion, creativity, participation, and learning when used consciously and responsibly.![]()

From 15–25 September 2025, our youth exchange "Empires" took place in the beautiful town of Veli Lošinj, Croatia. Over these 10 inspiring days, we gathered 33 participants from Estonia, Spain, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Croatia.![]()

Together, we explored the fascinating history of empires – not through textbooks, but through non-formal education: theatre, board games, creative posters, debates, and more. These methods allowed participants not only to learn but also to experience history in a fun, interactive, and meaningful way.![]()

Beyond the knowledge gained, the project created something even more valuable: friendships across borders, intercultural dialogue, and the feeling of being part of the group.![]()

This short movie named "Immigration" was made by participants during our youth exchange "Europe meets the World" which took place in Orahovica, Croatia from 25th July to 1st of August 2025. Participants used real life stories to illustrate difficulties of immigration and searching for better life abroad.
This short movie was made during our youth exchange "Europe meets the World" which took place in Orahovica from 25th July to 1st of August 2025. In this video participants illustrated stereotypes and wrong perception of how Africa looks like, and instead they provided some good practice examples and modernized citizes that Africa has. ![]()
