It is widely assumed and all the indexes of gender equality show that Europe and other Western nations (USA, Australia, Canada and New Zealand) have achieved the greatest equality between men and women. In this youth exchange we will explore reasons as to why is Europe ahead of other parts of the world and what are the key events that transformed the position and role of women in our societies.<\/p>\n

2. Explain the progress made in achieving gender equality
3. Better understanding the difference in women\u2019s rights between Europe
