\n\t\n\t\tAs part of our Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Human Rights 101," taking place in Orahovica, Croatia, from 24 to 30 July 2026, participants created a creative and humorous video exploring the difference between freedom of speech and hate speech.The story follows a young man who constantly mocks, insults, and spreads hate toward everyone around him without considering the impact of his words. Everything changes when he has a dream in which the roles are reversed, and he becomes the target of the same hurtful behavior. Experiencing the consequences of hate firsthand encourages him to reflect on his actions, develop empathy, and rethink the way he communicates with others.Through humor and relatable storytelling, the video delivers an important message: while freedom of speech is a fundamental human right, it also comes with responsibility. \n\t\n\t\tAs part of our Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Human Rights 101," taking place in Orahovica, Croatia, from 24 to 30 July 2026, participants created a powerful video inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.Through a series of scenes, the video contrasts moments from the past, when fundamental human rights were denied, with the progress that has been made over time. \n\t\n\t\tOne of the highlights of our Human Rights 101 Youth Exchange was our vibrant Intercultural Evening! \u2728Participants from Croatia, Serbia, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Austria, and Bulgaria proudly presented their countries by sharing traditional food, customs, music, and interesting facts about their cultures. \n\t\n\t\tThrowback to RETOY \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddf0\u267b\ufe0fLooking back at September 2025, we're reminded of an unforgettable week in Ko\u0161ice, Slovakia, where our Croatian team joined young people from Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria for the RETOY Erasmus+ youth exchange.What started as a week of meeting new people quickly turned into an inspiring journey of creativity, sustainability, and digital innovation.One of our biggest challenges\u2014and highlights\u2014was taking part in a clean-up of Ko\u0161ice's city centre. The waste we collected didn't end up in the bin. Instead, we transformed it into a unique Smart City model using the principles of JunkArt, proving that with teamwork and imagination, "trash" can become something meaningful.We also stepped into the world of 3D printing, learning how to operate the printer, prepare designs, and print decorations for our city model, as well as toys that were later donated to the charity Podaj \u010ealej. It was amazing to see technology being used to support both creativity and the local community.Another exciting part of the project was experimenting with AI tools to create short promotional videos using footage from our clean-up activities. It showed us how digital technologies can help spread important messages about environmental protection in creative and engaging ways.At the end of the exchange, we proudly presented our work during a local event at CV\u010c Domino in Ko\u0161ice. Our Smart City model found a new home at the youth centre, visitors explored the possibilities of 3D printing, learned about JunkArt, and discovered what Erasmus+ has to offer.And, of course, the intercultural evenings remain some of our favourite memories. \n\t\n\t\t\ud83c\udf0d Political Literacy 101 has come to an end!Today marks the final day of our Erasmus+ youth exchange \u201cPolitical Literacy 101\u201d, which took place in Fu\u017eine, Croatia, from 17\u201325 May 2026.Over the past days, young people from Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, and Bulgaria came together to learn, discuss, share ideas, and strengthen their understanding of political literacy and active citizenship.During the exchange, we explored many important topics, including democracy, foundations and deviations from democracy, free speech, consensus building, political ideologies, migration and its impact on democracies, populism, European institutions, electoral processes, youth participation, and the role of young people in society.Participants also took part in group-building activities, intercultural learning, creative campaigning, preparation of final outputs, Youthpass reflection, final evaluation, and the closing ceremony. Through non-formal education, teamwork, discussions, and creative activities, they had the chance to connect political concepts with everyday life and reflect on how young people can become more active, informed, and engaged citizens.We are grateful for all the energy, ideas, cooperation, and friendships created during this youth exchange. \n\t\n\t\tYouth exchange Political Literacy 101 has officially started!Yesterday we began the first day of our Erasmus+ youth exchange \u201cPolitical Literacy 101\u201d in Fu\u017eine, Croatia, bringing together 33 young people from Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, and Bulgaria. Youth exchange is taking place from 17th to 25th May 2026.Our first day was dedicated to getting to know each other through group and team-building activities, creating a safe and supportive space, and building trust within our international team.In the upcoming days, we will continue with sessions connected to political literacy, including democracy, political ideologies, free speech, migration, populism, European institutions, electoral processes, youth participation, and the role of young people in democratic societies.The main objective of the project is to empower young people to become active, informed, and critically engaged citizens. Posebno nam je zadovoljstvo istaknuti da je ovo na\u0161 prvi projekt sufinanciran sredstvima Grada Zagreba.\u0160to je "Paleta svjetonazora"?\u017divimo u vremenu "echo chambera" i sve ve\u0107e polarizacije. Svijet se \u010desto poku\u0161ava svesti na crno-bijele kategorije, ali mi vjerujemo da su na\u0161i svjetonazori puno bogatiji i kompleksniji. Projekt istra\u017euje gdje prestaje sloboda govora, a po\u010dinju ljudska prava, te kako razvijati kriti\u010dko razmi\u0161ljanje u moru informacija.Uspje\u0161no smo odradili prvu fazu projekta! Kroz suradnju s ekspertima i posjete razli\u010ditim organizacijama i udrugama, pripremili smo materijale koji \u0107e mladima pomo\u0107i da razumiju dru\u0161tvenu kompleksnost.Sada prelazimo na najuzbudljiviji dio \u2013 fazu provedbe! O\u010dekuje nas 10 radionica u kojima \u0107e sudjelovati oko 200 mladih iz zagreba\u010dkih \u0161kola i domova. Program je podijeljen u tri klju\u010dne serije:1. \n\t\n\t\tFrom 2\u20138 January 2026, we had the opportunity to take part in the Collaboratory Erasmus+ Partnership Building Activity in Tallinn, Estonia which was implemented by IZUM Youth Club.During this inspiring week, we met and exchanged ideas with project managers and representatives from 19 different countries across Europe. \n\t\n\t\tAs part of our Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Human Rights 101," taking place in Orahovica, Croatia, from 24 to 30 July 2026, participants created a creative and humorous video exploring the difference between freedom of speech and hate speech.The story follows a young man who constantly mocks, insults, and spreads hate toward everyone around him without considering the impact of his words. Everything changes when he has a dream in which the roles are reversed, and he becomes the target of the same hurtful behavior. Experiencing the consequences of hate firsthand encourages him to reflect on his actions, develop empathy, and rethink the way he communicates with others.Through humor and relatable storytelling, the video delivers an important message: while freedom of speech is a fundamental human right, it also comes with responsibility. \n\t\n\t\tThrowback to RETOY \ud83c\uddf8\ud83c\uddf0\u267b\ufe0fLooking back at September 2025, we're reminded of an unforgettable week in Ko\u0161ice, Slovakia, where our Croatian team joined young people from Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria for the RETOY Erasmus+ youth exchange.What started as a week of meeting new people quickly turned into an inspiring journey of creativity, sustainability, and digital innovation.One of our biggest challenges\u2014and highlights\u2014was taking part in a clean-up of Ko\u0161ice's city centre. The waste we collected didn't end up in the bin. Instead, we transformed it into a unique Smart City model using the principles of JunkArt, proving that with teamwork and imagination, "trash" can become something meaningful.We also stepped into the world of 3D printing, learning how to operate the printer, prepare designs, and print decorations for our city model, as well as toys that were later donated to the charity Podaj \u010ealej. It was amazing to see technology being used to support both creativity and the local community.Another exciting part of the project was experimenting with AI tools to create short promotional videos using footage from our clean-up activities. It showed us how digital technologies can help spread important messages about environmental protection in creative and engaging ways.At the end of the exchange, we proudly presented our work during a local event at CV\u010c Domino in Ko\u0161ice. Our Smart City model found a new home at the youth centre, visitors explored the possibilities of 3D printing, learned about JunkArt, and discovered what Erasmus+ has to offer.And, of course, the intercultural evenings remain some of our favourite memories. \n\t\n\t\t\ud83c\udf0d Political Literacy 101 has come to an end!Today marks the final day of our Erasmus+ youth exchange \u201cPolitical Literacy 101\u201d, which took place in Fu\u017eine, Croatia, from 17\u201325 May 2026.Over the past days, young people from Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, and Bulgaria came together to learn, discuss, share ideas, and strengthen their understanding of political literacy and active citizenship.During the exchange, we explored many important topics, including democracy, foundations and deviations from democracy, free speech, consensus building, political ideologies, migration and its impact on democracies, populism, European institutions, electoral processes, youth participation, and the role of young people in society.Participants also took part in group-building activities, intercultural learning, creative campaigning, preparation of final outputs, Youthpass reflection, final evaluation, and the closing ceremony. \n\t\n\t\tYouth exchange Political Literacy 101 has officially started!Yesterday we began the first day of our Erasmus+ youth exchange \u201cPolitical Literacy 101\u201d in Fu\u017eine, Croatia, bringing together 33 young people from Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, and Bulgaria. Youth exchange is taking place from 17th to 25th May 2026.Our first day was dedicated to getting to know each other through group and team-building activities, creating a safe and supportive space, and building trust within our international team.In the upcoming days, we will continue with sessions connected to political literacy, including democracy, political ideologies, free speech, migration, populism, European institutions, electoral processes, youth participation, and the role of young people in democratic societies.The main objective of the project is to empower young people to become active, informed, and critically engaged citizens. \n\t\n\t\tProjekt "Paleta svjetonazora"Ponosni smo \u0161to mo\u017eemo objaviti da kre\u0107emo s novim izazovom! Posebno nam je zadovoljstvo istaknuti da je ovo na\u0161 prvi projekt sufinanciran sredstvima Grada Zagreba.\u0160to je "Paleta svjetonazora"?\u017divimo u vremenu "echo chambera" i sve ve\u0107e polarizacije. Svijet se \u010desto poku\u0161ava svesti na crno-bijele kategorije, ali mi vjerujemo da su na\u0161i svjetonazori puno bogatiji i kompleksniji. Projekt istra\u017euje gdje prestaje sloboda govora, a po\u010dinju ljudska prava, te kako razvijati kriti\u010dko razmi\u0161ljanje u moru informacija.Uspje\u0161no smo odradili prvu fazu projekta! Kroz suradnju s ekspertima i posjete razli\u010ditim organizacijama i udrugama, pripremili smo materijale koji \u0107e mladima pomo\u0107i da razumiju dru\u0161tvenu kompleksnost.Sada prelazimo na najuzbudljiviji dio \u2013 fazu provedbe! O\u010dekuje nas 10 radionica u kojima \u0107e sudjelovati oko 200 mladih iz zagreba\u010dkih \u0161kola i domova. Program je podijeljen u tri klju\u010dne serije:1. Identifikacija svjetonazora \u2013 Uz pomo\u0107 "politi\u010dkog kompasa" istra\u017eujemo vlastita uvjerenja i stavove.2. Moralni temelji \u2013 Duboko promi\u0161ljamo o vrijednostima poput bri\u017enosti, po\u0161tenja i lojalnosti kroz simulacije i debatu.3. \n\t\n\t\tFrom 2\u20138 January 2026, we had the opportunity to take part in the Collaboratory Erasmus+ Partnership Building Activity in Tallinn, Estonia which was implemented by IZUM Youth Club.During this inspiring week, we met and exchanged ideas with project managers and representatives from 19 different countries across Europe.
